SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Effective Date: [Month Day, 2026] · Last Updated: [Month Day, 2026] — DRAFT, requires legal review.

Plain-language summary: If you enable SMS notifications, these terms describe how RiskReady Home sends texts, what they cost, and how to opt out at any time.

Consent

By enabling SMS notifications in your account or item-level preferences, you agree to receive text messages from RiskReady Home about your account, items, reminders, reports, invites, and selected notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your items and any safety notices or reminders.

Opt-out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by turning SMS off in your notification settings, or by replying STOP to a RiskReady text where supported. You can request help by replying HELP or by contacting support@riskreadyhome.com.

No purchase condition

If marketing or promotional SMS messages are ever offered, your consent to those messages is never a condition of using RiskReady Home or purchasing any paid feature. Transactional and notification texts may be tied to the features and preferences you choose.

Phone number changes

If you change or deactivate your phone number, please update your RiskReady Home settings so messages are not sent to a number that is no longer yours.

Carrier disclaimer

Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
